COVID and Virtual FAQs

• Based on CDC guidance, the Town of Celebration Marathon as an outdoor event can be conducted in a safe manner.​
• We fully expect to hold the race as an in person event and will take the necessary steps to do so safely based on the prevailing state of COVID at the time the race is run.
• We may institute wave starts, designated social distancing, or other measures necessary to ensure the race can take place safely should the situation warrant it.
• Should anyone desire to run the race "virtually" due to their own situation or concerns, they are allowed to do so, but must pickup (or have someone else pickup) their shirt, medal, and blanket during normal packet pickup hours.  Virtual runners will not have anything shipped to them and will not be included in official results.
